I particularly love to work and play at the intersection of statistics, mathematical modeling and technology-based business models that leverage the full capabilities of the Internet.
My personal interests lie in observing, modeling and predicting the impact of major socio-technologic transformations on the industries and communities in which we live.

We are fortunate to live in
a time and place on the threshold of more significant transformations
than any generation before has experienced. Several of these fields at the threshold of transformation, are high on my personal enthusiasm list:
- Macroeconomics and the transformations that result when an "emerging economy" grows into dominance in a single generation.
- Systems biology and the transformations that result when a qualitative science begins to leverage quantitative methodologies.
- Video games as transformative experience, specifically role-playing, simulation and strategy games.
- Scientific and medical research as a transformative force for improved global communication.
